American Made – Episode 1 – Atlas 46 – Tactical Tool Gear

The unsung heroes of the tool world here in the United States are companies that resist the pressure to offshore their manufacturing and lose control of their quality standards. Not just companies that ship a bunch of parts into the US and stamp Made in the USA on it, but products designed, sourced, and manufactured right here in the USA. Made with hard working American Blood Sweat and Beers.

This video series is going to look at some of these companies around the United States, but why not get started right here in my own backyard.

Atlas 46 is a group of innovative former military contractors, who took their knowledge of the wonder material that is tactical nylon and brought it to woodworking and the trades. Take a look at episode 1 of this series below for a tour of their factory.
